Arisekola Alao Laid To Rest In Ibadan


Prominent Nigerians, Ibadan indigenes, friends, associates, admirers and beneficiaries of the late Aare Musulumi of Yoruba land, Alh AbdulAzeez Arisekola Alao, today Friday thronged Adamansigba Stadium,Ibadan to pay last respect to the business magnate.

Arisekola died in a London hospital on Wednesday at the age of 69 years.

Security operatives including police, men of the Feceral Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) controlled vehicular movements into the area while providing security for sympathizers.

Dignitaries at the event include: former Lagos Governor, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, National President of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Chief Bayo Oyero, PDP chieftain, Bode George and Ibadan high chief, Alh Lateef Oyelade, Alh. Hazeem Gbolarumi and Alh. Lamidi Ajadi.
