Jonathan appoints Bode George's wife, Roli as DG NDLEA


President Goodluck Jonathan today, Thursday appointed the wife of one of the Peoples Democratic Party elders, Chief Olabode George, as the Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.



According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, Mrs. Roli Olabode George takes over from Mr. Olufemi Ajayi, who was appointed on Wednesday as the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).

The appointment, the statement said, takes immediate effect.

It reads: “President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has appointed Mrs. Roli Bode-George as the Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency."

“Mrs. Bode-George takes over from Mr Olufemi Ajayi, who is now the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund."

“The appointment is with immediate effect.” It stated
