The Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) Prof. Attahiru Jega after a meeting with top officials of the commision has postponed the general election previously stated for 14 of Febuary, 2015.
He said the decision was reached after studing the security situation of the country, adding that security remain the most vital part of election conduct.
He said the election has been postponed to March 28 for the Presidential and senatorial seats while governorship elections and state house of representatives has been postponed to April 11.
