Three top leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a seasoned bureaucrat are in hot contest for the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
President Muhammadu Buhari is however yet to make up his mind and he is battling to stave off pressure.
Those either interested or being strongly recommended for the SGF are ex-Governor Rotimi Amaechi(South-South), ex-Governor Ogbonnaya Onu(South-East), the National Chairman of APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun(Edo); and a former occupant of the office, Amb. Babagana Kingibe.
Investigation by our correspondent revealed that Buhari is at crossroads of conceding the SGF either to the North-East or the South-South/ South-East.
