Report has given it that the late Oladepo Ifedapo Rachael, a National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, member of the 2016 Batch ‘B’, who died in Kano during orientation, died of renal sepsis occasioned by infection.
This was coming as the Federal Government warned the serving and prospective NYSC members against hiding information from government officials to ensure their total safety while serving their fatherland.
Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung and the Director General of NYSC, Birg-General Suleiman Kazaure said government was commitment to the safety of corps members, while condoling with the families of the three late corps members.
The death of Ifedolapo, a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology had been generating tension as some people accused NYSC of negligence.
