Sony unveils first smartphone games for launch in 2017

The electronics giant Sony has announced the first games from its Playstation franchise to be launched for smartphones. Part of the ForwardWorks company established earlier this year to expand the Playstation world to mobile devices, the new games will launch from spring next year in Japan, for both iOS and Android devices.
At a press conference in Tokyo, Sony said it's working on mobile versions of popular PlayStation games such as 'Everybody golfs,' 'Wild Arms', 'Arc the Lad', 'What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord?' and 'Parappa the Rapper'. It's also working with other game developers such as Square Enix and Gree on new titles.

The games were unveiled along with a new slate that can connect to game cards to a tablet or phone.
