Southern Governors Has No Right To Stop Open Grazing - Malami

Abubakar Malami, Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, in an interview With Channels Television has moved against Southern governor call for the nation's restructuring.

During the programme, 'Politics Today’ he faulted Southern governors for banning open grazing in the region adding that open grazing ban is the same thing as Northern governors banning spare parts trading in their own region.

According to the AGF, Southerners comprise a majority of spare parts traders in the North and they go about doing their businesses.

On the call for restructuring, he urged the southern governors to allow the constitution take it full place stating that the governors should allow the Local Governments to practice their constitutional mandate to the grassroots.
