Devoted fans of the late award-winning King of Pop, Michael Jackson's made their annual pilgrimage to Forest Lawn Cemetery Wednesday to pay their respects on the 5th anniversary of his death.
Jackson died June 25, 2009 having suffered a cardiac arrest in his Los Angeles home. He was rushed to the hospital after his heart stopped and CPR attempts failed, and died later that morning. He died aged 50.

A massive bomb blast that rips off Emab Plaza, one of the biggest and most busy malls in Abuja has killed hundrend of people.
The blast, which went off at 3:57 pm, triggered a big bang that set the massive shopping mall on fire.

Sudanese woman who was freed yesterday from her death sentence in Sudan for changing her religion to Christianity has been arrested again at Khartoum airport.
Meriam Ibrahim was charged and sentenced to death by a Sudanese court for changing her religion from Islam to Christianity in May 2014.
Nollywood up and coming actress, Mimi Orjiekwe, has shown that she is one of the many Nigerian ladies who prefers dating a rich man who cheats on her to a poor broke man who is faithful.

The U.S Mission in Nigeria has congratulated INEC, security agencies and electoral stakeholders for the successful conduct of the June 21 gubernatorial election in Ekiti.
A statement issued by the embassy in Abuja on Monday commended INEC for overseeing "a credible, efficient process", which it said, by all accounts, reflected the will of Ekiti voters.

A vigilante group in Borno have intercepted a group of suspected Boko Haram members in Kwarangilam village, Chibok Local Government Area of the State, in the early hours of Monday, and killed eight armed terrorists.
The group of gunmen started a raid on a peaceful village, located about 15km from the infamous Chibok town, around 3am. What Boko Haram members did not expect was an ambush by local defenders, also known as Civilian JTF.

Fear has gripped residents of Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State following a letter purportedly written to the people by the Boko Haram sect members informing them of their plans to launch fresh attack.
Chibok is the same council area where over 200 female students of Government Girls Secondary School were abducted by the Islamic militants.
